I was born and raised in Southern Oregon, just a stone's throw from the California border. Growing up, my family was all loggers, and I spent my childhood surrounded by the natural beauty of the forest. Now, I am a married parent of three daughters, and I've pursued my passion for writing through higher education and professional development. I have a BA degree and a certificate from the LongRidge writers group, which have helped me hone my skills and become a better writer.
