Collection Concept & Development: Spearheaded the conceptualization, color forecasting, and design of seasonal unstitched and ready-to-wear collections, aligning artistic vision with Khaadi’s iconic brand identity. Print & Pattern Design: Developed original artwork, intricate repeating patterns, and digital prints for lawn, linen, silk, and winter fabrications, ensuring flawless layout and scaling for production. Weave & Texture Innovation: Collaborated closely with technical teams to design and develop woven structures, jacquards, and intricate embroideries, integrating traditional handcraft aesthetics with modern design elements. Color Theory & Execution: Created cohesive color palettes and oversaw lab dip approvals, managing strict color consistency across various fabric substrates and printing techniques. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnered with fashion designers, product developers, and merchandisers to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with fast-paced retail timelines. Production Oversight: Conducted regular mill and factory visits to supervise the printing and dyeing processes, troubleshooting production issues to maintain high-quality standards and minimize design distortion. Key Achievement: Successfully launched a high-performing seasonal collection that drove a 15% increase in category sales by introducing contemporary geometric motifs alongside Khaadi's traditional floral aesthetics.
