Lorsque je révise un manuscrit, je suis un lecteur bêta actif. Je veux dire que je m'interroge constamment et que je me pose des questions telles que :
Le rythme est-il trop rapide/lent ?
Que ressens-je pour ce personnage ?
Suis-je confus/investi/diverti ?
Ce paramètre pourrait-il être plus descriptif ?
Y a-t-il des trous dans la construction du monde ?
Où est le développement du personnage ?
Quel est le rapport entre la romance et l'intrigue ?
Je propose des commentaires intégrés au document afin que vous receviez une première impression du lecteur lors de la lecture de votre travail. Je fournis également un rapport de lecture avec un résumé de mes réflexions. Dans le rapport, je me concentre sur la vue d'ensemble des forces et des faiblesses.

It's always beneficial for a writer to see their story through a reader's eyes before it goes out to the general public. Ace helped me know where the first part of my book, where readers formed their impressions, could be improved, and also validated some of the choices I'd made. With her input, I can now tweak the book and make it better.
