I collaborated with author Shantanu Iyer CEO of Prose Weaver on the first installment of his dystopian Cyn Trilogy, set in the year 2276 BD a dark, futuristic world where corporate power, political control, and advanced technology converge into a deeply complex society. My role involved: Analyzing and providing detailed feedback on the world-building, noting the strength of the author's atmospheric setting and offering suggestions on how to deepen the Ouroboros motif and the tension between humanity and synthetic creation. Reviewing character development, including in-depth notes on the lead character Avah, a fledgling AI grappling with consciousness and identity, and her dynamic with the enigmatic Hidden Man/Natizen One. Identifying thematic threads around technology vs. humanity and advising on how to carry them consistently throughout the narrative. Flagging pacing and structural opportunities within the prologue to maximize reader engagement from the very first page.

An excellent read through of the first 20000 pages of my WIP. Rachel read it with sympathy and brought out some of the thoughts I'd had about the beginning of the book.
