About Me

I'm Akshay Halagannavar from India have been playing Chess past 12years with having the International Peak Fide Rating of 1980. I've represented my state in various National level Age Categories & have won categories prizes in London Chess Class, Czech Open to name few. I've been coaching chess past 5yrs for the age of 5 to 26.


Teaching Methodology

I've been conducting classes for Beginner to Advanced level students using chess software. Interacting is the best way to assess the knowledge of the students and accordingly the courses are structured for the upcoming classes. I've a different ways of approaching the game to make it easy for students. 


Mode of Teaching

Will get connected through zoom for Audio & Video and will be sharing screen for the Chess Board.

I'm a Culinary Graduate(Batch of 2020) from Manipal, Karnataka. I have been playing chess past 12+yrs had reached the peak Fide Rating(International Federation) of 1980. Have won rating category prizes in Uk, Czech & UAE. I've been coaching online/offline past 5+yrs and due to Global Pandemic have been coaching only online currently
