Returned for a second season, working from May to September. Opened the pool each day by cleaning it and checking the water chemistry. Watched swimmers during shifts of about 10 am to 8 pm, gave first aid for minor injuries, and helped guests with questions and requests. Kept the pool deck and surrounding areas clean and in good order. No swimmer drowned while I was on duty.

Worked 10-hour shifts, most days of the week. No swimmer drowned while I was on duty.
