FAQ
Is web scraping legal?
Scraping publicly available data is generally legal. I only scrape public info, respect robots.txt, and follow ethical practices. You're responsible for how you use the extracted data.
What if the website blocks the scraper?
I implement rate limiting, rotating headers, and proxy support when needed. If blocking occurs after delivery, I'll adjust at no extra cost within support period.
Can you scrape sites requiring login?
I only scrape publicly available data. If you have legitimate account access, message me to discuss your specific situation.
How do I run the scraper after delivery?
Simple command: `python scraper.py`. I include step-by-step instructions. Premium includes video walkthrough.
What if the website structure changes?
I offer free fixes within your support period (14 or 30 days). After that, minor updates are typically quick and affordable.
Can you just deliver the data without the script?
Yes! If you need a one-time extraction, I can deliver just the data. Ask for "Data Only" option.
How many pages/records can you scrape?
I can handle sites with millions of pages.
What output format is best?
Excel/CSV for analysis, JSON for developers, Google Sheets for collaboration. I'll recommend based on your use case.
Can you scrape data regularly on a schedule?
Yes! Premium includes scheduling. I can set up daily, weekly, or custom intervals so fresh data flows automatically.
Do you scrape Amazon, eBay, or LinkedIn?
I follow each platform's terms of service. Message me with your specific needs and I'll advise on the best approach.
