I'm an editor who blends thoroughness and speed so that you get your document returned to you promptly. I offer both two copies of your edited document: one with every correction marked and tracked and one with all changes applied.
I will thoroughly edit your document. I will scour your manuscript for:
- Typos
- Issues with grammar and syntax
- Formatting errors
- Misused punctuation
- Awkward phrases or sentences
- Confusing phrases or sentences
- Inconsistencies
- Structural errors
- Redundancies
I will also offer an overview of common errors I find throughout the manuscript and suggest overall improvements for the writing, if relevant.
My typical work style uses Tracked Changes in Word (or comments in PDF, though with PDF, I would be unable to provide a clean copy). Using this, you can see exactly what was changed and where it was changed. You also have the opportunity to accept or reject each of these changes. I supplement this approach with the occasional comment, often to point out an area that's confusing or nonsensical.

Will you accept manuscripts over 80,000 words?
Absolutely! I'll read manuscripts in all shapes and sizes, no matter how large or small (even if you've got a Lord of the Rings size chonker).
What does your editing involve?
I correct errors with punctuation, spacing, spelling, grammar, and formatting while rewriting sections for readability, clarity, flow, consistency, and syntax so that your manuscript can read as smoothly and strongly as possible.
Do you reject any genres or topics?
Nope! I'll read whatever you've written and do my best to provide objective and specific feedback. From kink erotica to personal memoirs to LGBT Fantasy (a personal favorite), there's no judgment here.
Do you offer beta reading services?
