I'm a 2nd generation Filipino-American, a published author, & single mom of two. My short stories have been published in anthologies or have long-listed and short-listed in several prize-winning writing contests. I regularly beta read for other writers, was a Tin House YA Scholar, a panel presenter at AWP, and have gained attention from literary agents & a Big 5 editor for my current novel-in-progress. As a freelance editor, I help writers recognize their strengths, better understand their craft, and find their voice.
