What types of transcription do you offer?
By default, transcripts are provided in clean verbatim format, including only essential words and omitting repeated stutters, filler words, and false starts. If you need a full verbatim (word-for-word) transcript, please contact me first so I can create a custom order for you.
What format will my file be delivered in?
Your files will be provided in Microsoft Word format (.docx) by default, but you can also request your transcripts in PDF, RTF, or TXT formats.
Do you transcribe files with accents?
Yes, I’m experienced with a range of English accents, including British, American, Asian, Arab,, Nigerian, and Chinese, among others.
How do you handle unheard parts of an audio/video?
I make every effort to capture everything spoken in an audio file, which is why we request clear recordings. If there are any unclear sections, they will be clearly labeled as [Inaudible 00:00:00] and time-stamped to help you easily locate them.
I have large volume of files to transcribe, is there any form of discount I can get to fit my budget for larger volumes?
Yes, accuracy in transcribing your files is my top priority. For large volumes (6 hours or more), please contact us, and we’ll work out a schedule that aligns with your timeline.
My files are too large, how do I send them to you?
Kindly use a cloud storage service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive to upload your file. Once uploaded, copy the file link and send it to me, either by pasting it in our chat or reaching out if you need any assistance with this process.
