Now that you're finished with the hard part, it's time to perfect it.
I offer line-by-line editing of your finished manuscript, which will include detailed comments and in-line edits in a Word or Google document. This gig includes two passes through your manuscript.
My line editing will address things like:
- clarity and consistency in style
- word choice and sentence structure
- reducing repetition and overused words
- cutting out filler words
- improving dialogue
- consistency in characterization
- making sure descriptions of settings, characters, and action paint a vivid picture for your readers.
This gig does not include copy editing or proofreading, but I will correct grammar that I notice while reading line-by-line.
I know the tropes and common types of characters in all genres of romance, including contemporary romance, paranormal romance, fantasy romance, dark romance, and reverse harem. I can work with you on a romance novel for any age group and with any level of steam!
