I will teach the violin from beginner up to advanced level

For beginners, the lessons will involve sound producing, developing intonation and flexibility whilst using methods of violin technique, so creating the possibility for performing violin pieces.
For intermediate level we continue with more advanced violin technique methods, more difficult pieces such as concertinos, involving things like double-stops, vibrato, changes to higher positions.
For advanced we improve our technique using more difficult violin methods, and we move to Mozart sonatas and concertos, Schubert sonatines, and works from other composers.
The possibility to prepare for external exams such as ABRSM is offered.
For intermediate and advanced level the scores can be offered by me, for beginners, I will strongly recommend and guide the student to buy some books for the beginner stages.

My name is Andreas Tsitsaros, born in Nicosia, Cyprus. Member of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra for 28 years, in the position of sub-leader of the second section of violins. I graduated from Private School of Musical Arts in Cyprus, which collaborated with the Athenian Conservatory ('Athinaiko Odeio')
with distinction and first prize in violin performance in 1993. I have got 35 years of teaching experience, and my students have had great success in ABRSM London exams. I am able to teach all ages and abilities, ranging from beginners to advanced.

I have been learning the violin with Andreas for the last 16 weeks, and it's been an amazing experience! He's definitely the best violin teacher I've had (I've had four in the past). He really knows how to teach, especially online, where it can be a bit more difficult. I've learned so much, and I cannot wait to continue this journey.
