Most book trailers look like the book was an afterthought.
I direct trailers for authors who understand that a reader's first ten seconds with your book might not be the cover. It might be this.
The read. I go through your manuscript or the parts that carry it. Before a single frame exists, I want to know what your book does to a reader, not just what happens in it.
The direction. You receive a storyboard and a visual treatment: tone, palette, pacing, the exact moment we open on. Nothing gets made until we agree on what we're making.
The build. Every frame is built to your world your characters, your settings, your weather, your light. Nothing is pulled from a library. Nothing will appear in anyone else's trailer.
The finish. Narration cast and directed to your characters. Cinematic score. Sound design and colour to match.
This isn't for you if you need it by Friday, you want the trailer to simply show what happens, or price is your first question.
It is for you if you spent years on this book and you want ninety seconds that carry the same weight.
Mystery, romance, literary, fantasy genre isn't the constraint. Intent is.

I don't just cut footage to a music track. I read what your book is actually about, then build a 60–90 second film that makes a stranger want to open it. If your script isn't landing, I'll say so and offer a rewrite — that's usually where the good trailers come from.

Do you use AI to make these?
Yes — as a tool, not a shortcut. Every frame is directed for your book: your characters, your settings, your light. What you're paying for is the read, the storyboard, and the edit. The software doesn't make those calls.
Do you need to read my whole book?
No. Send your synopsis, first three chapters, and one scene you'd defend to the death. That's enough to find the tone. If your book turns on its ending, tell me.
How long does it take?
Two to five weeks depending on scope. Storyboard first, then the build. If your launch is inside two weeks, say so now and I'll tell you straight whether I can do it properly.
Can I make changes mid-project?
Freely at storyboard stage — that's what it's for. Once the build starts, changes to tone, characters, or direction mean regenerating footage, so those count as new scope. Be opinionated early.
Will my trailer look like anyone else's?
No. Nothing is pulled from a library, nothing is reused. Built for your book alone.
