Antoine is a Dutch music producer, musician, and mixing engineer who graduated cum laude from Sound Education Nederland. His work spans a variety of genres and can be found on YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, and other streaming platforms. His musical journey began with formal training on the electronic organ, followed by piano and synthesizer. As a teenager, he joined his first band and was introduced to music production and mixing using Cubase on an Atari computer. This early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for both music and technology. Over the past 30 years, Antoine has performed in numerous bands and ensembles covering rock, pop, funk, jazz, musical theatre, and big band. These experiences continue to influence his own compositions and productions. Antoine has extensive experience with professional music software, including Dorico for composition, Cubase for recording and mixing, and WaveLab for mastering. He also works with high-end virtual instruments and sample libraries from companies such as Steinberg, Native Instruments, EastWest, and Spitfire Audio. In addition, he has taught introductory mixing courses and runs a mixing club in the Netherlands. In 2010, Antoine founded Skippy Studio, a professional home studio equipped with a wide range of keyboards, software instruments, and recording equipment. He has a particular interest in studio acoustics, sound measurement, and the science behind recording, mixing, and mastering. Since 2020, Antoine has focused entirely on music production, covering the complete process from composition and arrangement to recording, mixing, and mastering. His broad musical and technical background allows him to support projects from the first idea to the final master. Antoine is always interested in new collaborations.
