You are an artist, you have the vision that shapes your music, you know better what is good for your sound, why would you let someone else to master your song? Mastering engineers spend most of their lives listening to songs in different genres, different grooves from different eras but unlike casual listeners we are doing it critically, analyzing frequency spectrum, macro and micro dynamics and how all of it affect human emotions.
