FAQ
Do I need to be physically present for you to configure my network?
Not necessarily. For network design, diagram, and configuration scripts everything is done remotely. I'll need your current network details, floor plan, and device access credentials (shared securely). For physical cabling or on-site setup, that would need to be handled
What information do I need to provide before you start?
To design your network properly, I need: 1. Floor plan or layout of your facility 2. Number of users and devices 3. Current network setup (if any) 4. Internet connection type & speed 5. List of network devices you have (router model, switch model, APs) 6. Any specific requir
Which router brands do you support?
I specialize in MikroTik RouterOS and Ubiquiti (UniFi). I can also work with Cisco, TP-Link, and most enterprise-grade switches for VLAN configuration. If you have a specific brand, message me first and I'll confirm compatibility.
What is VLAN and do I actually need it?
VLAN (Virtual LAN) separates your network into isolated segments — for example, keeping your office computers, production devices, CCTV cameras, and guest WiFi completely separate from each other. This improves security, reduces congestion, and makes your network easier to manage.
Will I receive documentation after the project is done?
Yes — always. Every project includes: • Network topology diagram (PDF) • IP addressing scheme • VLAN table • MikroTik configuration scripts • Basic troubleshooting guide So your IT team or any future technician can understand and maintain the network without starting from scratch
