Supported hospital administration and operational activities as part of an MBA summer internship. Worked closely with the hospital administrator and gained exposure to departmental coordination, staffing and shift planning, laboratory operations, workflow monitoring and hospital reporting. Worked on analysis of pathology and microbiology turnaround-time data, using Excel and analytical methods to identify delays, performance patterns and opportunities for operational improvement. This experience strengthened my interest in combining healthcare operations, data analytics and evidence-based decision-making.
