Hi all, My current job is in data science, but my company has a policy of calling everyone "data analysts" (maybe to reduce pay? ) My job is based WAY more in predictive analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, etc., in Python/R/SQL than anything purely descriptive in Tableau/Excel/PowerBI. I've been submitting some resumes with Data Analyst changed to Data Scientist, but I'm not sure how okay this is and don't want to break any ethical codes if I can avoid it (but also want to get a job!). I think it fits WAY more in line with my actual job responsibilities, but not sure to what extent this is alright. Would appreciate any thoughts on the matter!
