OLD RECORDING RESTORATION
I will repair old vocal recordings by reducing tape hiss and background noise, and restoring missing frequencies to the recording. Best for dialogue of a single voice originally recorded well, but now in poor condition due to tape deterioration.
*Not recommended for singing. Spoken word only.

Can you completely remove background noise?
In most cases, the background noise can be completely removed, but it largely depends on the quality of the original recording. Occasionally, a small amount of noise may remain, but the overall recording will still be greatly improved.
Can you enhance the voice to hear words that are missing from the recording?
Unfortunately, if the recording did not clearly pick up words in the first place, there will not be enough audio to enhance, even if the background noise can be removed. Audio Restoration works best on voices recorded at a good volume, but with old tape hiss or background noise.
What type of audio files do you need?
The best file type would be WAV. A high quality MP3 can work as well. For best results, the audio should have as little file compression as possible.
