À propos de moi
I am Berlincubus— a visual artist for whom the labels “highbrow” and “lowbrow” are yet another binary to break. Passion for the weird and fascination with humanity’s dark, carnal side inspire me.
Some major themes in my art are tyranny and liberation, kinship and isolation, as well as the fear of our own feelings and the murky lines between our beliefs and our primal impulses.
My work is about introspection and ethical depravity— not just facing the beast within oneself, but treating it with compassion. Being unashamed to love what you love and express yourself.
