Broad Overview
Lifestory • Temps plein
Oct 1989 - Present • 36 yrs 7 mos
During my life, I acquired experience in many different fields. This is a brief overview as the list is extensive. My first actual job was at a skeet shooting club at age 14 and since, I have held many other positions. Of course, I had a stint in fast food (A right of passage for my generation), since then, the highlights are: Automotive industry (shop, Service writer, Asst. Manager, and sales/purchasing. Then, into the CDL life as a school bus driver, box truck driver, tractor trailer city driver and many miles as an OTR driver. Also, I have held a few construction positions, concrete, post frame and home construction. Followed by running a storm debris clean-up crew (We chased Ice storms and hurricanes as a first tier sub-contractor, clearing the way for utility crews and E.M.S. after major storms). In the recent years, in between the events that I stumbled into and discovered I loved, I have been in the warehouse industry as an inbound supervisor, the GM of a local hardware store (until the truth of the owner's moral compass became known to me) and a small business owner, which brings us to today. I currently own and operate 2 small businesses that embrace my character, experiences, voice and story telling nature. These experiences truly are an asset as I honestly know the industries I am speaking to and can relate to many different types of people no matter their position, title or status class.
MC, Audio/Lighting tech and director
Midland Railway • Freelance

This was a great return post covid of events at Midland Railway named Snowglobe Express. During this event, I was a freelance worker and my primary roles among many were MC, Audio director, Lighting designer and director and the "North Pole" director. The SnowGlobe Express was a creation for Midland railway that was as all inclusive and as interactive as possible with a 45 minute off train production at the "North Pole". During this event, I was given the opportunity to engage and interact with 500-700 riders per operating day with some days being over 1000 riders. I was the face and voice for SnowGlobe Express and it was an amazing post covid return of events to the railway.

As the Director of Guest Experience for Midland Railway in Baldwin City Ks, I had the pleasure of working with Rail Events and Warner Brothers entertainment for the second season of The Polar Express hosted in Baldwin City Ks. Again, this was the largest and most inclusive production of The Polar Express in the region and with major improvements from the first season, the riders were treated to an experience that represented the movie as closely as possible. As the MC, Front of house Director and on train character, I was again given the opportunity to engage and interact with over 700 riders on operating days and some days, over 1000 riders. My voice was used as the voice of HoBo Joe and when in character was needed, I was HoBo Joe live. During the time of the event, I was considered a freelance voice and character actor for Warner Bros Entertainment.
