I work as an Industrial and Mechanical Product Designer helping inventors, startups, manufacturers, engineering teams, and product businesses develop physical products from early concepts through detailed CAD and manufacturing documentation. My work covers mechanical product design, industrial product development, 3D CAD modeling, complex mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, part design, enclosure design, sheet metal components, product redesign, reverse engineering, and manufacturing ready CAD development using SolidWorks and Fusion 360. I transform sketches, reference images, existing models, measurements, drawings, and product ideas into accurate parametric 3D models and structured assemblies with attention to dimensions, clearances, component relationships, fit, function, and manufacturability. I also prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical drawings, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, exploded views, section views, dimensioned views, bills of materials, and production documentation. Where required, I incorporate GD&T, tolerances, manufacturing notes, material information, surface requirements, and other engineering specifications to help manufacturers understand the design correctly. I support projects intended for CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, 3D printing, laser cutting, fabrication, and other production processes. My approach focuses on developing products that are practical to manufacture rather than simply creating attractive 3D models. I review design intent, part interaction, assembly fit, component clearance, manufacturing constraints, and production requirements so potential issues can be identified before prototyping or manufacturing. This helps clients move from concept to prototype and production with clearer CAD data, better documentation, and fewer avoidable redesigns or manufacturing problems.
