What does a developmental edit include?
A developmental edit focuses on the big-picture elements of your story—plot, pacing, character arcs, worldbuilding, tension, and overall structure. You’ll receive an editorial report plus comments throughout your manuscript!
Do you fix grammar or rewrite sentences?
No, developmental editing is about story structure, not grammar. If you’d like stylistic/line editing, copy editing, or proofreading, I offer those in separate gigs and would be happy to help!
What genres do you work with?
I specialize in fantasy, romantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal, YA, and horror, but I’m happy to work with other genres too. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
How long is the editorial report?
It varies by project, but my reports are always detailed, clear, and tailored to your story’s needs!
Can I send you my full manuscript before ordering?
