Look at the Google Page Speed Insights score of a perfect 100 in my image gallery. That is a page with a full screen image and a typing feature sent to a smart phone through a 4G network. If you need more proof, then you can contact me, and I can give you links to live pages that you can try.
Can I request a custom order if I already have some of your services set up?
Yes. If you tell what you have already done, I can discern what else you need to do to improve your page speed.
What are the recurring expenses that I will have to pay for the software that you will install?
Nothing. Any software that I may install is free.
What is a CDN?
A CDN is a content delivery network. It writes copies of your files so that they are located geographically closer to your visitors when they call for one of your pages.
What is HTML caching?
HTML caching is a form of page caching that is the process of setting your HTML out onto your CDN. It has special considerations that need to be made to make sure that your site updates properly.
Do you use HTML caching for non WordPress sites?
No. This is generally considered unnecessarily complicated for HTML based sites.
Do you perform object caching or database optimization?
Rarely. This kind of caching is usually only meaningful on large websites that take on a lot of traffic and require frequent updates. It also requires you to have a compatible server. Most websites on the internet would not notice meaningful results with object caching.
Do I need a super fast server to get my site loading quickly?
Probably not. Most reputable shared servers taking on a modest amount of traffic are adequate. The key to getting a fast page load on a slow server is minimizing how much work the server has to do.
How do you measure the site's page load speed?
Measuring page load speed can be surprisingly subjective. Some people are happy if their site loads fast when they're loading a page on their desktop when their files are cached in the browser. Other people aren't happy unless their site loads fast on a 3G phone on the other side of the world.
