FAQ
What makes your website evaluation different from your competitors?
I will look at your website from a multidisciplinary perspective. I will evaluate the content, the aesthetics, and the performance of your website. And when I make suggestions, I will consider the feasibility of improvements.
How long will your review be?
The difference in review length can vary substantially. I generally don't spend a lot of time explaining to people what they have done correctly. My goal is to point out objective fundamental problems, and perhaps some subjective problems, with solutions that are as specific as feasible.
How specific will your solutions be?
I try to provide solutions that are as specific as is reasonably feasible. But there are limits to how much information I can provide through this format. If you need me to help you build your website, then you can request my services through my other gigs.
How cost effective will your solutions be?
Whenever possible, I try to provide a DIY (do it yourself) solution. However, I won't write your code for you through this gig. I have other gigs for that. But if it is reasonable, I will provide code examples.
Does it matter what software my website has been built with?
I can review any kind of website regardless of how it was built.
Does my website need to be live for you to be able to review it.
In order to be eligible for for the prices in this gig, you will need to have a live website. However, if your site isn't live, then you can review my other gigs or you can make a custom request.
I see each package lists a number of questions. When can I ask these questions?
You can ask your questions before I make my review, after I make my review, or you can spread out your quota both before and after the review. Or you can choose to not ask any questions.
Can I ask you to look at some particular problems?
Yes. You will have the opportunity to list any specific concerns that you may have before I start the review. Each concern will be counted toward your question quota.
Will I have the opportunity to ask questions about your review?
Yes. Once you have received my review, you will be able to ask a certain number of questions based on the package you have picked and how many questions that you asked before my review.
What if my website is less than three pages or more than ten pages?
You can choose the gig that is closest to your website's number of pages. Or you can make a custom request. However, I will not review more than ten pages of your website unless a custom request has been made.
