Parcelforce Worldwide – Depot Administrative Staff (Oct 2025 - Jan 2026) In this role, I was responsible for maintaining accurate parcel location and status information across Parcelforce and Royal Mail tracking systems. This included logging, tracking, and organising parcels at all stages of the delivery and redelivery process, as well as managing physical sorting and storage based on parcel status (e.g. redelivery, customer collection, next-day dispatch, or address resolution). I worked with a range of parcel types requiring specific labelling and data entry across multiple systems. A key part of the role involved resolving address-related issues by liaising with customers and van drivers when addresses could not be located due to outdated or incorrect mapping data. I cross-referenced multiple mapping sources, interpreted first-hand information, and communicated clear delivery instructions to drivers to ensure successful outcomes. I handled customer communication both in person and over the phone, resolved delivery queries efficiently, and managed payments and cash handling for parcels with outstanding charges and kept accurate financial records physically and digitally. I also produced clear written instructions and handover notes to support continuity of operations and effective team communication.
