Member of the Global Product Development team responsible for Refrigerator system design for Whirlpool, Hotpoint, Ariston, Bauknecht, Indesit, KitchenAid and others. • Follow the complete product development process of refrigerators from cradle to grave. • Acting as a Cost Leader for the post-merger, cost reduction activities for Siena plant (Chest Freezers), optimized CF design and is implementing a saving of more than 1.3 million USD currently. • Analyzed and implemented design changes in Built-In refrigerators, to optimize the structural design and increase efficiency classes for NEL2 energy labels in more than 30 technical models. • Supported the team in Production Validation (PV) phase in one of the biggest projects of Whirlpool, Darwin. • Innovated cost-saving of skin condensers for E-class products, through co-designing with the sub-industry. Reducing the cost price from €4.70 to €1.20 per unit. • Conducted regulatory structural tests on Built-In refrigerators, with DC, Mono-circuit, No-Frost, Full no frost, Dual circuits EV models and Chest Freezers. • Performed DOEs on several TEMs to enhance the design of refrigerators and ease manufacturing based on simulation, DFMEA and DFAs .
