Création de blogs Wordpress

WordPress blog development is the process of building a blog using the WordPress platform, covering everything from picking a theme and setting up the layout to configuring plugins, categories, and the publishing workflow. A freelancer handling this service sets up the backend so you can write and publish posts easily, while also making sure the design matches your brand.

Most WordPress blog projects on Fiverr include a custom or customized theme, a homepage and post layout, navigation menus, and basic on-page SEO setup. Some sellers also handle content migration if you're moving from another platform. WordPress powers a huge share of blogs online because it's flexible and has a massive plugin ecosystem, which is why it remains the go-to choice for bloggers, small businesses, and content creators.

You can check the official WordPress site to see the platform's core features and latest version.

WordPress blogs vary quite a bit depending on your goals. Here are the most common types sellers on Fiverr build:

1. Personal or lifestyle blogs, focused on simple writing layouts and reader engagement.
2. Niche authority blogs, built around a specific topic like finance, travel, or tech, often with structured content hubs.
3. Affiliate or monetized blogs, which include ad placements, affiliate link tracking, and product review layouts.
4. Multi-author or magazine-style blogs, with more complex categorization and contributor roles.
5. Hybrid blogs attached to a business website, combining a company site with a regularly updated blog section.

Each type calls for different plugin choices and layout decisions, so it helps to know which one fits your goals before hiring.

A WordPress blog is built for ongoing content publishing, with categories, tags, an archive structure, and a comment system, while a landing page is a single static page built to convert visitors into leads or sales. A general static website usually has fixed pages like Home, About, and Contact, with little to no regular content updates.

If your main goal is consistent content publishing and audience building over time, a blog setup is the right fit. If you need a single page focused on driving one action, check out WordPress landing page services instead. Many businesses end up combining both, a static site for core pages and a blog section for ongoing content.

Based on Fiverr marketplace listings, WordPress blog development typically starts around $80 for a basic setup with a pre-built theme and simple customization. Mid-range projects with custom design work, plugin configuration, and SEO basics usually fall between $100 and $250. More advanced builds, including custom functionality or multi-author setups, can run $300 to $500 or more.

Hourly rates for experienced WordPress developers generally range from $25 to $50 an hour. Pricing depends on the seller's level, the complexity of the design, and how many plugins or custom features you need. Fiverr sellers usually offer Basic, Standard, and Premium tiers, so you can compare what's included at each price point before choosing.

Your budget should account for more than just the build itself. A few things that commonly affect the total cost:

1. Premium themes or page builder licenses, if you want more design flexibility than free options allow.
2. Ongoing hosting and domain fees, which are separate from the developer's fee.
3. Premium plugins for SEO, security, or caching, some of which have yearly subscription costs.
4. Content writing, if you want the freelancer to also write your first batch of blog posts.
5. Future website maintenance for updates and bug fixes after launch.

Planning for these extras upfront helps you avoid surprise costs after the blog goes live.

Most projects follow a similar structure from start to finish. The general flow looks like this:

1. Discovery call or brief, where you share your goals, style preferences, and any reference sites.
2. Theme selection or custom design, based on your branding and content type.
3. Development and setup, including installing WordPress, configuring the theme, and setting up categories and menus.
4. Plugin installation, covering SEO, security, and any features specific to your blog.
5. Content upload, where initial posts and pages are added.
6. Review and revisions, giving you a chance to request changes before final delivery.
7. Launch and handoff, including a quick walkthrough of how to publish new posts yourself.

Timelines usually range from a few days for a simple setup to a few weeks for a fully custom build.

WordPress blog projects rely on a mix of core software and plugins to get everything working smoothly. Common tools include:

1. Page builders like Elementor or Divi, used to design layouts without writing code.
2. Block editor (Gutenberg), WordPress's native content editor for building posts and pages.
3. SEO plugins like Yoast SEO or Rank Math, for managing meta tags, sitemaps, and readability checks.
4. Caching and performance plugins, to keep page load times fast.
5. Security plugins, to protect against spam and unauthorized access.

Some sellers also reference Google Search Central guidelines when setting up SEO structure, since it's the official source for how search engines crawl and index WordPress sites.

Many sellers offer add-ons on top of the base blog setup. Common extras include:

1. Custom logo or branding elements, often sourced through separate logo design services if not included.
2. Newsletter or email signup integration.
3. Social media sharing buttons and auto-posting setup.
4. Speed optimization for faster load times.
5. Ongoing content writing, usually billed separately through content writing services.

What's typically not included is hosting, domain registration, and long-term maintenance after the delivery period ends. Always check the gig description carefully, since inclusions vary a lot between Basic, Standard, and Premium packages.
