Correction de bugs dans WordPress

WordPress bug fixing is the process of finding and repairing technical problems on a WordPress site, such as broken pages, plugin conflicts, or fatal errors that stop a site from working correctly. A freelancer offering this service on Fiverr digs into the site's code, theme, or plugins to locate the source of the issue, then applies a fix so the site loads and behaves as expected. This covers sites built directly on WordPress, the open source platform, as well as sites built with page builders like Elementor. Fiverr sellers handle everything from small display glitches to critical errors that take a site fully offline, and pricing scales with how serious the problem is.

What Types of WordPress Bugs and Errors Get Fixed?

WordPress problems tend to fall into a handful of recurring categories, and most sellers on Fiverr can address more than one in a single project.

1. Fatal errors and the white screen of death, usually caused by a plugin or theme conflict.
2. HTTP errors like 403, 404, or 500 that block visitors from reaching pages.
3. Broken checkout pages, product display issues, or payment failures on online stores, which often fall under dedicated e-commerce bug fixing services.
4. Elementor issues, such as broken layouts or sections that render incorrectly.
5. Security related bugs, including malware injections or hacked files that change how the site behaves.

Sellers usually ask for site or admin access first so they can reproduce the error before making any changes.

Bug fixing repairs something that is broken, while customization changes or adds features to a site that already works correctly, like a new page layout or added functionality. Bug fixing restores existing behavior, while customization builds on top of it, and Fiverr lists them as separate service categories for that reason. Site owners who want both, a fix now and a redesign later, can usually find the same seller offering WordPress customization services once the underlying bugs are resolved. It's worth mentioning both needs upfront so the seller can scope the full project accurately.

WordPress bug fixing on Fiverr typically ranges from $50 to $150 for a single, well defined issue like a broken plugin or a display error. More complex problems, such as a full site outage or several conflicting plugins, generally run from $150 to $400 or more depending on how much investigation is needed. Hourly rates for experienced WordPress specialists usually fall between $25 and $50 per hour. The final price mainly depends on how long the bug takes to diagnose, how many files or plugins are involved, and whether the seller also needs to check for related issues like security gaps or slow load times.

Most WordPress bug fix projects on Fiverr follow a similar sequence from start to finish.

1. The seller reviews the issue and asks for site access or a description of what's happening.
2. They create a backup first, since reputable WordPress backup and migration services always protect the existing site before changes are made.
3. They identify the root cause, whether that's a plugin conflict, a corrupted file, or a server setting.
4. They apply the fix and test the affected pages across devices.
5. They confirm everything works and share a short summary of what was changed.

This structure keeps the process transparent and gives the site owner a clear record of the fix.

WordPress bug fixing sellers typically rely on error logs, staging environments, and plugin conflict testing to isolate a problem before touching the live site. Many also use FTP or cPanel access and browser developer tools to inspect what's failing. Common add-ons include a full site backup, a basic malware scan, or a plugin and theme update pass, and some sellers pair bug fixes with light work from WordPress speed optimization tips if the site is also running slowly. What usually isn't included is a full redesign or ongoing protection, which is better handled through dedicated WordPress security services if the site has been compromised more than once.
