Price elasticity is one of the highest-leverage pieces of analytics a business can run, and one of the most rarely done well. Most pricing decisions still come from gut feel or from what competitors charge. A proper elasticity model gives you a real answer: raise this price 5%, lose 2% volume, net +3% revenue. That's the kind of number that moves the P&L.

How much price variation do I need in my history?
Some is essential. If your prices have been completely static, there's nothing to estimate elasticity from. Historical variation (promotions, price changes, discounts) or designed experiments both give me signal.
Can you handle cross-price effects between products?
Yes — Standard and Premium include cross-elasticity between substitutes and complements. This is often where the biggest findings come from (pricing decisions that look good for one SKU but cannibalise another).
What about competitor prices?
I can include competitor pricing as a feature if you can supply it. Scraping competitor sites is outside this gig's scope.
What accuracy can I expect?
Elasticity estimates typically have wide uncertainty bands — that's honest, not a weakness. I report confidence intervals so you know what you actually know, and so you can make risk-weighted decisions.
Can you build a live dynamic pricing system?
Yes — Premium package. I'll also set up A/B test infrastructure so price changes are validated before full rollout.
