This project started organically. While actively engaging in the Bubble.io community forum, I came across a post from a client — Adam — who was frustrated with his web application running significantly slower than expected. The app had been built and was live, but performance issues were starting to affect his users and overall product experience. Rather than waiting for work to come to me, I reached out directly, introduced myself, and offered to take a look. After a series of conversations where I asked the right questions to understand the scope of the problem, Adam brought me on to conduct a full audit and fix of his Bubble.io application. This was not a simple bug fix — it required a deep dive into every layer of the app. I started with a thorough Bubble.io app audit, examining the database structure, data types, and how information was being fetched and stored. I identified several issues including unoptimized database queries that were fetching far more data than necessary, redundant and overlapping workflows that were firing multiple times unnecessarily, heavy page loads caused by too many elements loading simultaneously without proper conditional logic, and API calls that were not structured efficiently, causing delays in data retrieval and display. Over the course of one week, I systematically worked through each problem. I restructured the database logic, cleaned up and consolidated workflows, implemented conditional visibility to reduce page load weight, and optimized all API integrations. The result was a dramatically faster, cleaner, and more scalable Bubble.io web application that performed the way it was always supposed to. Adam was genuinely impressed with both the results and the communication throughout the process.
