Provision of expert professional/technical advice and guidance on complex issues to colleagues, managers, and partner agencies as well as helping staff to develop their knowledge and expertise, to identify risk, support the resolution of issues and inform decision making, and influence the development of services and delivery of projects. I acted as a reviewer of potential prosecution cases, and I provided advice to corporate health & safety team on risk management. I lead on the achievement of best practice by initiating and implementing improvements which supported continuous development of the service in line with nationally recognised quality standards and systems. In June 2017, I was responsible for ensuring safety of Westminster/RBKC mortuary staff in relation to potential risk of asbestos contamination following the fire at the Grenfell Tower. I put together asbestos guidance note and risk assessment procedure for post-mortem examination technicians and I provided expert advice on safe working arrangements.
