As the Head Coach at Peak Fitness, I oversee all client progress, tailoring plans, setting goals, monitoring progress and of course 1 to 1 coaching. I am always further developing my skill set with new and innovative ways to ensure our clients are challenged sufficiently to achieve the desired progress. All of my programmes are generated using experience and knowledge which I have gained over many years. Whilst I will study and lean on external resources such as peer review studies, the actual programmes and workouts created are all my own work. I never use a one size fits all template as my intention is to provide my clients with the most specific exercises possible to suit their needs. I take my clients medical history, previous injuries, and previous sporting achievements in to account to ensure we build on strengths, eliminate weaknesses where possible, and most importantly we provide a safe and effective programme which will not aggravate historical injuries. I utilise my extensive martial arts training to further develop strength through a greater range of motion. This builds functional movement patterns and significantly reduces the risk of injury when carrying ot data day tasks. Injury prevention is often overlooked, but I treat it as an integral part of my programming, ensuring warm ups, cool downs, and active recovery are as important as the intense workout. As a Personal Trainer I have seen a wide variety of clients with different goals, needs, abilities and disabilities. This is why I am so passionate about working closely with my clients to ensure the tailored service is not only suitable, but personal. I guide my clients hough exercises, stretching, mobility, flexibility and movement patterns to ensure they have a complete understanding of the specific part of the anatomy we see focusing on at that point. My main objective is to provide my clients with a knowledge base which gives them the confidence to progress independently.
