Hello! I'm Clare, a developmental editor specializing in cozy mystery, psychological thriller, women’s fiction, and upmarket fiction.
I've spent a lifetime reading obsessively. I bring something to your story that training alone can't: I know exactly what these stories feel like when they're working, and what to do when they’re not quite there yet.
My background is in storytelling: I hold a BFA in creative writing, my work has appeared in numerous literary magazines, I've had focused training in developmental editing, and I have years of ghostwriting and developmental editing experience.
