I am an Industrial Engineer with extensive practical experience in construction, architectural drafting, BOQ preparation, quantity takeoff, cost estimation, site inspection, and construction project monitoring. I graduated in 2017 and have been working in the construction industry since then, developing a strong combination of engineering knowledge and hands-on experience in real construction projects. I started my professional career working on construction sites as a Site Inspector. This experience gave me a strong understanding of how construction projects are actually executed on site. I gained practical knowledge of construction activities, materials, quantities, workmanship, site conditions, progress monitoring, and coordination between drawings and actual construction work. Working directly on construction sites also helped me understand the challenges that clients and contractors face during project execution. Over the years, I progressed into a Team Lead role and have monitored approximately 40–45 residential construction projects in Lahore, Pakistan. My responsibilities included monitoring construction progress, checking quantities, preparing BOQs from architectural layouts, estimating project costs, tracking material requirements, and comparing planned quantities with actual site execution. This experience has given me a practical understanding of BOQ-based construction monitoring and cost control.
