FAQ
I only have a rough sketch or photo — is that enough to start?
Yes. A clear photo, hand sketch, or even a reference image from the internet is enough. You do not need a 3D file to get started.
What file formats will I receive?
You will receive STL and STEP files. These open in any slicer software and are ready for FDM or resin 3D printing immediately.
Do you support food grade molds
Yes. The design follows safe spacing for food safe silicone.
Can you design multi cavity molds
Yes — single cavity and multi cavity molds are both within scope. Multi cavity molds are ideal for buyers producing in volume who need consistent results across every cast
Do you deliver the physical silicone mold or just the digital file?
Both options are available. You can order the digital STL file ready for 3D printing, the physical mold made and shipped directly to you, or both together. Worldwide shipping is covered regardless of your location.
Can I print this mold myself or do I need special equipment?
The files are designed for standard FDM and resin printers. If you do not have a printer, I can print and ship the physical mold to you anywhere in the world.
How do I know the mold will fit my product correctly?
Before delivering the final files you will receive a 3D preview for review. You can request changes at this stage before anything is finalised.
What materials can I cast inside the mold?
The mold works for silicone, resin, epoxy, soap, chocolate, candle wax, plaster and most casting materials. Tell me your casting material when you message so I design the right wall thickness and draft angles for it.
