I’ll read your manuscript from a reader’s perspective and look at plot, pacing, characters, dialogue, consistency, emotional impact, engagement, and overall readability. I’ll point out what works and where the story may lose a reader.
Do you beta read romance and fantasy novels?
Yes. I offer romance beta reading, fantasy beta reading, dark romance, romantasy, thriller, mystery, horror, science fiction, YA, and other fiction genres. You can message me first if your genre isn’t listed.
What will I receive after the beta read?
You’ll receive honest manuscript feedback and a reader report highlighting strengths, areas that need attention, reader reactions, and practical suggestions to help you revise with confidence.
Will you rewrite or edit my manuscript?
No. Beta reading is focused on feedback, not rewriting your book. I’ll identify issues and explain how they affect the reading experience while respecting your writing style and creative decisions.
Can you beta read an unfinished manuscript?
Yes. If your manuscript is still being revised, I can provide feedback on the available chapters or complete sections. For the most useful beta read, however, a complete manuscript is recommended.
