Financial Controller • Direct all accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions for a Commercial real estate portfolio consisting of 300 properties totaling 3.7 million square feet across the USA. • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of three accountants, overseeing workload management, professional development, performance reviews, and adherence to accounting policies and procedures. • Partner closely with ownership, asset managers, property managers and stakeholders to provide financial analysis, portfolio performance reporting, cash flow forecasting, and strategic recommendations. • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and management reporting packages in accordance with GAAP. • Manage Property-level accounting operations, including tenant billings, CAM reconciliations, real estate tax recoveries, lease administration, operating expense reviews, and revenue recognition. • Review and analyze annual operating budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support investment and operational objectives. • Monitor lender reporting requirements, debt covenant compliance, loan draws, debt service, and financing-related obligations across the portfolio. • Oversee cash management activities, including cash flow planning, funding requirements, distributions, and optimization of operating and reserve accounts. • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting processes through continuous process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices. • Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, lender reviews, and financial inquiries with external auditors, tax ad
