I recently worked with a client to launch a fully functional TikTok Shop from scratch. The client was facing challenges with account setup, store configuration, and product category approval, which prevented them from starting sales. My responsibility was to handle the complete TikTok Shop setup process, including store configuration, compliance alignment, and preparing the shop for approval according to TikTok Shop requirements. A major challenge was securing approval for restricted product categories (food and beverage). I managed the category approval process, ensured all required details were properly submitted, and adjusted product listings to meet TikTok Shop policies. After approval, I uploaded and optimized product listings, structured the catalog for better navigation, and ensured all products were properly displayed. I also supported basic store management, ensuring smooth product visibility and preparing the shop for affiliate marketing and sales activation. This project helped the client move from zero setup to a fully approved and active TikTok Shop ready for sales. This experience strengthened my skills in TikTok Shop setup, category approval, product listing optimization, compliance handling, and store management for eCommerce growth.
