Daniel is an aspiring composer whose works range from classical to contemporary, film to game. His works draw influence from composers such as Korngold, Prokofiev, Williams, Larkin, and Yuuji. He has written pieces for small and large ensembles including wind band, orchestra, string quartet, and digital instruments. His music tends to be heavily thematic with a focus on manipulating motivic material. His music has been played by groups such as the UT New Music Ensemble, Press Start Orchestra, Illinois State University Wind Ensemble, and the US Naval Academy Band.
