À propos de ce service
My specialty is lead guitar, the kind that you might hear on something in the 60s and 70s - classy, emotive, string-bending and memorable - and I work mainly in the pop, rock, blues-rock and psychedelia sphere. I will improvise and compose a solo to your music then send you the isolated part both unprocessed and with my habitual reverb and production.
I'll discuss with you any style, tone or player references you might have and send a first pass to ensure you like the direction. Very possibly you'll be happy with it first time, but if we move into revisions I'll check what you like and don't like so far to craft the perfect solo.
My guitars are recorded through a Celestion Greenback-loaded 12" cab and a Royer R-121 microphone, one of the finest models in the world. My preamp and interface are Focusrite and Prism Sound, used in countless studios. Real guitars, amps, pedals and microphone; I adore vintage, soulful and above all real guitar tones and playing, and want to add that to your music. Be it a song, score, jingle, soundscape, audiobook or anything else you can conjure.

I'm a composer and guitarist specialising in writing for and recording with real musicians. My music spans full-blooded orchestral themes, whimsical classical inventions and Renaissance polyphony, and I've recorded it with many ensembles over the years.
My work has been broadcast nationally and internationally on Classic FM, BBC Radio, and KUSC. My piece for string orchestra "Hiraeth" headlined the recent Navona Records release "Sparks Vol. II", being reviewed as "...brings to mind the wide-reaching zeniths of Vaughan-Williams."
Put your project's music in experienced and passionate hands.
FAQ
Can I split recording time between songs?
Yes. The standard and premium tiers can be split between two and four different tracks respectively. However, revisions remain the same. If you split a premium tier into four different solo parts, I can only offer three revisions in total.
Are there styles you don't record?
Yes - jazz is something I can only cheat my way through, and whilst I have some tricks up my sleeve I'm not a fast or technical player. My gear is perfect for rock, blues and less modern tones and styles.
