Since 2024, most planning applications in England have needed to show a 10% biodiversity net gain. A missing or incorrect BNG metric is now one of the most common reasons applications are delayed or made invalid.

I complete the statutory biodiversity metric or the Small Sites Metric from your habitat data, then write a clear BNG report that sets out your baseline, post-development value and how the 10% gain is achieved.
