Shan works with authors to turn their book concepts into finished print-ready covers. Instead of generating one AI image and calling it done, he runs multiple targeted AI generation passes to build up individual elements — characters, scenes, effects — then brings everything into Photoshop to composite it into one cohesive image, carefully blending lighting, shadows, hair, and atmosphere so the final cover doesn't look "AI-made." He manages the entire relationship with recurring clients across a whole book series, from first concept through revisions to final delivery, including picking the right typography for each cover.
