FAQ
What information do I need to provide?
The more the better, but at minimum: your genre, core idea, target platform, and any mechanics you have in mind. If you have sketches, references, or existing notes, send them. I'll ask follow-up questions after you order via a short intake form.
Will this GDD be ready to hand to my developers?
Yes. The Standard and Premium packages produce a properly structured document with named sections that developers, artists, and producers can work from directly. The Basic (Concept Doc) is more of a design brief, good for early planning or pitching.
What format will the document be in?
Google Docs by default, which I'll share with full editing access. I can also export to PDF or Word on request.
Can you write a GDD if my game idea is still rough?
Yes! That's actually the best time to do it. Part of writing a GDD is forcing the idea to become concrete. If you have a rough idea and a genre, that's enough to start.
