Hello! I'm Dhatuyo Budiarto, a passionate chess player with over a decade of experience in the game. At 20 years old, I've earned the prestigious Candidate Master (CM) title from FIDE and have accumulated 30-40+ medals and trophies through various competitions.
But my passion for chess goes beyond playing. With over 100 hours of teaching experience, I have successfully coached students of all ages, including children. Dhutayo has a very nice way of showing really key principles including using metaphors and making it easy to develop a good strategy in the middle game. I think I learned a lot. Now to try it out...Very pleased with the lesson :)

What a great coach! He explained everything very clearly and opened up a completely new way of thinking about chess. He quickly identified my weaknesses and showed me exactly how I can improve them. The lesson was very helpful, structured, and easy to follow. I learned a lot and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their chess skills.

Dhatuyo did a great job explaining concepts and giving strategies. I think some of the strategies he gave were very helpful and some might not have been helpful for my chess playing. Overall, very fun lesson though!

Had a 30-minute coaching session with Dhatuyo and it was great. He's a really nice guy, easy to talk to, and reviewed a few of my games before pointing out one simple correction I'd somehow never considered despite playing for a while. Such an easy fix and it's already made a difference. Highly recommended!
