FAQ
In what format will I receive the drawings?
You will receive a PDF file that can be opened on any computer or smartphone, or printed out. The sheet size will be indicated in the bottom right corner. For an additional $10, I can also provide you with an AutoCAD file (DWG), which can be easily edited by anyone else.
Will the drawings comply with all U.S. (or Canadian) laws?
Yes, absolutely. The drawings will be of high quality and fully comply with the codes and requirements of your county, enabling you to obtain a building permit. I review the specific requirements of your county before starting work.
If I ask for revisions, do I need to pay extra?
First revision is free if it’s minor; $25 per list for additional revisions. Permit office revisions are free, regardless of complexity. Please ask the reviewer to specify unmet code or county requirements if corrections are needed. This ensures revisions are legally justified by U.S./Canadian laws.
Can you stamp my drawing?
My drawings will comply with the code and all requirements of your county, but I can only provide a stamp for the state of Florida for an additional fee. You can order a drawing from me and find an engineer in your state online who would agree to stamp it for an additional fee.
Is a stamp always required on a deck, porch, patio, or gazebo construction plan?
No, a stamp is usually not required. You can contact your county's permit office to find out if a stamp is needed for the structure you want to build or renovate.
Why don’t you create projects for countries other than the U.S. and Canada?
I would be happy to work on projects for other countries, but I am not familiar with the building codes and regulations of those countries. The main requirement for obtaining a building permit is that the drawings must 100% comply with the laws of the country where the construction will take place.

Working with Dimi is great just one area of improvement would be the response time is getting longer and longer. What’s happening is a project will be sent and something will be missing and to get a response will take about a day for the smallest of fixes.. but still great Work.
