They dictate the action and the dialogue, without any of the trappings of traditional novels. But the written word can hold attention for an audience in a different way than the acted word.

Writing I'll write the content with the agreed-upon word count for each chapter. With that I'll be able to estimate how many more words will be adapted per script page.

First draft I provide High Quality First Drafts for all my gigs. If there are any questions about the choices I made during the adaptation this is the opportunity to highlight them.

Delivery You'll review the final delivery and see if you need changes. I'll be able to tell you what pages I can expect to cover in the next gig, or how many more gigs may be required.
FAQ
How long of a novel can you make with my script?
I generally adapt 1 page of a script to 500 words. The number can be skewed by scripts that are heavy with dialogue, but I can add in narration describing action that lines up with directorial notes or stage notes within the screenplay and script itself.
What kind of scripts do you specialize in novelizing?
Novels are, generally, fiction. I tend to align myself with fiction writing, high concept and high-cinema appeal type of stuff. If you have a heavily grounded film with a practical low-budget feel, I will write to match the tone and mood appropriately. A CG blockbuster action extravaganza? Same deal
Will you make changes to the story that deviates from the script?
No. Unless you ask me to. I will use the script/screenplay as an outline and follow it to the letter. If there are grammatical issues or very apparent flaws within the story, I will ask about them when I get to them and defer to your solutions. This is your story, I'm just writing it.
Whose name should I put in the legal information/copyright/publishing?
Whomever you want. This is a Ghostwriting service. You can be a proud published author as well as screen writer of your story. I will accept credit if it is given, but do not require it. The story, and rights, and name, are all yours.
