I previously worked on a YouTube monetization project for a channel experiencing issues related to reused content and YouTube Partner Program (YPP) eligibility. My goal was to identify the problems, provide practical solutions, and prepare the channel for a proper monetization review. How I Started I first collected the client's YouTube channel URL, monetization/rejection message, screenshots, channel information, and details about how the videos were created. I then performed a complete channel audit, reviewing the videos, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, content format, originality, and overall channel presentation. PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION During the audit, I identified areas that could potentially affect monetization, including: Reused or repetitive content Insufficient original value or commentary Content quality and viewer value Possible YPP policy concerns Channel presentation and content consistency Monetization rejection reasons After identifying the issues, I prepared a personalized action plan explaining what needed to be improved. Project Completion I guided the client through improving the channel's content strategy and making the content more original and valuable to viewers. I recommended improvements to video structure, original commentary, editing, presentation, and content quality where appropriate. The project was successfully completed with a detailed channel audit, issue identification, personalized recommendations, and a practical monetization action plan. The client gained a clearer understanding of the monetization problems and the steps required to improve the channel.
