I’m in the NEMT/medical transportation space. Healthcare experience helps a lot, but the real foundation is setting up the business side properly: registration, insurance, vehicle compliance, driver requirements, policies/SOPs, patient intake process, pricing, dispatch, contracts, and referral sources.
