Worked as a Children’s Book Illustrator for Éditions Bayard Jeunesse, contributing to the creation of illustrated content for children’s books, magazines, and educational materials. My role focused on transforming written stories into engaging visual narratives that supported reading comprehension and imagination for young audiences. I collaborated closely with editors, authors, and creative directors to ensure that illustrations matched the tone, message, and educational purpose of each project. I interpreted written manuscripts and turned them into visual scenes that guided children through stories in a clear and enjoyable way. I specialized in designing expressive characters that communicated emotions such as joy, curiosity, fear, and excitement. Each character was developed with attention to personality traits so that children could easily relate to them. I also created full story scenes, ensuring continuity between pages and maintaining visual storytelling flow. My responsibilities included sketching initial concepts, refining drafts based on editorial feedback, and producing final high-resolution illustrations ready for publication. I ensured that all artwork met printing standards, including correct resolution, color balance, and composition clarity. I also contributed to maintaining consistent illustration styles across entire book projects. This required careful attention to detail so that characters, environments, and visual themes remained uniform throughout each publication.
